BSF is planning an investment of more than $20 million to expand processing capacity at our headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida — the first stage of a larger, value-added growth plan.
The initial project will convert an existing freezer into a processing area, creating room to relocate our four skin-pack lines into a new space that’s about twice the size of our current area, and opening the door to add one to three additional skin-pack lines, along with other value-added equipment.
As BSF Executive Vice President, Mark Frisch, shared with Undercurrent News, “We are saying this could be $20M+, as it could be more. It could be $30M.”
BSF is finalizing budgets now, with a target start date of June 1, 2026, and completion by May 31, 2027, to fully capture benefits in FY2028.
